This 1970 MG MGB roadster has been modified with custom
yellow fiberglass bodywork and a turbocharged 2.3-liter
inline-four reportedly sourced from a Ford Mustang SVO.
Shifting is through a five-speed manual transmission,
and additional features include a white soft top, cream
leather upholstery, air conditioning, Blaupunkt AM/FM
cassette stereo, power-assisted steering and front disc
brakes, and 15” Super Sport-style wheels. The car is said
to have spent time in the collection of the Volo Auto
Museum before being acquired by the current owner. This
modified MGB roadster is now being offered in Canada on
consignment by the selling dealer at no reserve with British
Columbia registration.

The car is finished in yellow and has been fitted with
custom fiberglass bodywork, including a hood with a scoop
and vents, flared front and rear fenders, a vented front
bumper, and aftermarket taillights. Additional equipment
includes a removable white soft top, a rear lip spoiler,
dual exhausts, bullet-style side-view mirrors, stone guards
ahead of the rear wheels, and Kustoms of America badging.
The seller has been unable to locate the trunk release
lever, and various scratches, cracks, and paint chips
are present around the body

The 15” Super Sport-style wheels are mounted with Kelly
Charger tires that measure 225/50 up front and 295/50
out back. Braking is through power-assisted front discs
and rear drums.

The cabin houses bucket seats trimmed in cream leather
upholstery with a color-coordinated dashboard and door
panels. Custom metal panels with switchgear have been
added to the center stack, and amenities include air conditioning,
power steering, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette stereo.
Duct tape and peeling upholstery are visible on the soft
top headliner

A wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Turbo horn button
sits ahead of AutoMeter instrumentation that includes
a 10k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary
displays. The digital odometer shows approximately 17k
miles, around 100 of which have been added during current
ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
